Northwest

        This mosaic was taken by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit as it made its way down the Southeast side of Husband Hill in the Columbia Hills. The image was acquired on Sol 701 (Dec. 22, 2005). The view spans about 50°. Pancam's 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm filters were used in this mosaic. Two versions are available below at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to enhance the subtle color differences in the scene.
